This series was shot during the late fall months on a pond in Maine – a beautiful, tranquil time.  Angelic calls of the loon throughout the evening and morning hours can be heard across the water.  Because the water is clean and deep, the light only reflects on the lilies.   Using a head lamp to focus on the lilies and a boom with lights hanging over the boat, I am able to capture the lilies finishing out their life, descending to the bottom to help next year’s lilies emerge.
